ABOUT ME
My name is Myriam Moreno. I ama passionate translator with a deep love for languages, videogames, and literature. From an early age, I was captivated by the power of stories and how they transcend borders. This fascination led me to pursue a career in translation and localization, where I could help bring those stories to new audiences.
With a Master's degree in Literary and Audiovisual Translation and years of hands-on experience, I've had the privilege of working on exciting projects across various fields, including videogame localization, software translation, subtitling, and literary translation. My work includes titles like Lost Ark, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and the award-winning Pentiment. Each project has deepened my appreciation for the nuances of language and the importance of cultural context.
Whether it's ensuring the perfect lip sync in a dubbing script, crafting subtitles that capture the essence of the original dialogue, or translating a complex videogame narrative, I approach every task with dedication and a keen eye for detail. My mission is to create translations that are not only accurate but also resonate with the target audience, providing an experience that feels natural and immersive.
During my spare time, I can also be found playing or listening to music, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Music Studies at the Unversity of Malta.
